As a team we are always on the look out for fun clothing and accessories for our clients.  Hillary sent me a link to Bestow and asked me to add it to our blog.

Announcing our next set of special boudoir photography days in Seattle

After our two successful valentine boudoir photography days in Seattle, we are pleased to announce that we have set the dates for our next special boudoir days.    Boudoir photography is one of the most intimate yet tasteful portraits where you can express your individuality, beauty and sensuality.  No matter what shape or size, the human body is an amazing art-form to capture.  Boudoir photo sessions are focused on creating beautiful and artistic photographs you can feel proud of, whether your goal is personal empowerment, or having a unique gift to share with a loved one.

Our special boudoir days includes:

• an appointment with one of our boudoir consultants to discuss your goals for your session and, of course, to discuss outfits.
• hair and makeup with Jennifer who will work to create your desired look, whether it be sweet and innocent, or sexy and sultry.
• your own personal photography session with Phil and his team of women assistants.
• your own private viewing meeting to review your photographs where you get to select your favorite photographs and discuss with one of our boudoir consultants how to best display your photographs.

The next three dates are:

• Sunday, 1st of March
• Sunday, 5th of April
• Sunday, 3rd May

If you can’t make one of the exact dates listed, please give us a call anyway. If we get enough demand we might try and add an extra day close to these dates. 

We promise to make your boudoir experience relaxing and fun. Feel free to bring in your favorite music,or a friend if it helps you feel at ease.   Of course we will supply the champagne and snacks to help as well.  Our special days are just $250 including hair, makeup and photography time.   If you have a girlfriend that wants to take part too,  we will give you $100 off for the second appointment, making each session just $200.

Our second Valentines Boudoir Photography Day is today

As the snow falls outside the windows this morning, we are excited that today is our second boudoir day for our valentines special.   We have 3 ladies joining us starting this afternoon and well into the evening which will be a lot of fun.    For preparation for these days, and other boudoir photography sessions we have been preparing a number of framed pieces of art to showcase some of our varied work.  They are now installed in our entrance way and makeup area in our photography studio in Seattle.  I finished this print the week before last and its the first framed print that folks see when they walk through the door. 

And don’t worry about the snow ladies, the studio is always toasty warm!

A couple of sessions are still available for our second valentines boudoir day

Valentine Boudoir Day teasers

We are just getting through reviewing the many photographs that we took at our Valentine Boudoir Day that we had last Friday.  The day was completely fun with some amazing ladies and their friends that came into our photography studio in Seattle and we had a complete blast.  Jennifer Mobley   started out each session with her amazing hair and makeup work, then the ladies selected the many different outfits for their session and then the fun really started with the camera.    It was a long day and I confess to being quite tired afterwards,  but it was so worth it and everyone seemed to have a great day.   We have our second scheduled Valentine Boudoir Day this coming Sunday, January the 25th so if you are looking for an inspiring gift for either yourself or your loved one get in contact straight away, more details here

Our first valentines boudoir day is almost fully booked

I’m excited to say that our first Valentine Boudoir Day is almost fully booked.   We start this Friday , the 16th of January in our photography studio in Seattle, at 11am and then our last session starts at 6.30pm.  We do have one slot open early afternoon so if you are interested please get in contact straight away.   Our second day, January 25th still has openings so if you are interested but maybe not sure, why not give Jennifer a call at 206 250 6903.

Seattle boudoir photography previews for Ms Q

I just finished up working on some wonderful photographs of Ms Q and thought I would post them here in the blog.   Ms Q came into our photography studio in Seattle during our busy holiday season with the goal of creating some beautiful photographs to celebrate the end of the year.  After finishing up a framed print for her I asked if it was ok to post a few of the previews and I’m delighted to say that she said yes!    We had a really great session as we worked to create both artist and fun photographs of her in a variety of outfits.  Here are a few of her favorites.

Relax with one of Shawna’s wonderful massages

Our boudoir photography sessions are very much focused on pampering and relaxing our clients.  When you arrive you will receive a super warm welcome from the team.  The wonderful Jennifer Mobley starts out working with you to design your look for your session.  Her style and personal approach helps our clients to relax while she works her magic on your hair and makeup.  Then Jennifer and one of our boudoir team will sit down with you and review your outfits for session.  Of course to give you that little bit of extra confidence there will be champagne and wine if you would like a glass.  Then your session will start with our team paying attention to every little detail to position, adjusting you and the props to get that perfect shot to make you look your best.

With the goal of relaxation I’m super excited to announce that we now have a new partnership with one of Seattle’s best Massage and Craniosacral therapists – Shawna Lendzion Harbin.    Shawna has a wonderful space in Seattle’s Bodywork Cooperative and it is really helps you relax while Shawna works on you.   Combining massage and craniosacral is a little bit different than many therapists that I have been to in the past and it’s this dual approach that allows her to focus on helping with any pain and tension, insomnia, anxiety and such.  Or simply put, she can make you feel amazing.  I’m a client of Shawna’s and I can tell you that I often walk into her space with a bunch of tension, a little stressed and an hour or so later I feel like I’m floating on air, all relaxed and feel ready to take on the next challenge.

I was talking to a client earlier this weekend and she was telling me that Fredericks of Hollywood has a special sale on right now for their Valentines Lingerie and I thought I would post a link here.  Fredericks have been around for a long time and have some fun outfits.  Personally I find some of their stuff too tacky for my tastes, but if you look around their site some of their lingerie is very playful and often affordable so why not check it out.

Don’t forget to bring some fun accessories

One of the frequent questions that we get asked is what to wear and what to bring?   Apart from your favorite sensual lingerie the key thing that we advise clients to bring is accessories.  Our boudoir consultants will be happy to help you out with ideas but I thought it might be worth posting some ideas here.     Often you will find those accessories already in your closet, but feel to go shopping too as the local Seattle stores will love that.

Lets talk shoes!  I have found very few women that have visited us not loving shoes so this is always an easy conversation.  Grab a few pairs of your favorite stylish and sexy shoes and boots.  Knowing that you won’t have far to walk once you get here, the taller the heels the better.  Black heels are classic, but don’t forget open toed shoes that highlight your painted nails.  As for boots, likewise high sexy boots are great, but ladies with cowboy boots don’t forget them as they look great against your legs with maybe your cowboy hat on top as well.   Hosiery is also great to highlight your legs and create that extra intrigue.  The two obvious choices are fishnets or stockings.  If you have both bring them along and we can decide depending on your outfit.  For stockings we find that the look between those with suspenders and hold-ups are very different, so again if you can try and bring both that gives us choice depending on the outfit.

Next, hats.  Cowboy hats are a whole lot of fun and is often an obvious choice and often found in closets.  Caps of all colors and styles work great too.  Big brimmed hats are wonderful because you can often ‘hide’ underneath them so if you have have any please bring them along.  Then, in addition to shoes and hats, scarves, wraps and sexy feather Boas are great to drape over your body and create that sexy look, while keeping you modest.   If you like gloves, either long or lacy please bring them along.

As I finish this I realize there are lots of different ideas here, don’t feel pressured to bring everything, its just to get you thinking before your session.   If you have any concepts or ideas, please feel free to discuss with us before your session.
