The artistic tradition of boudoir photography is as old as the camera itself, but we had a vision for a contemporary update.  Our mission is to create empowering experiences for our clients, leaving them feeling beautiful inside and out.  You deserve to be pampered, and we want to make the experience from start to finish about more than simply taking dazzling photos.  We want you to leave our studio feeling confident, positive, and gorgeous.  By helping you to let go and express your sensuality in our fun, safe atmosphere, we know you will have a wonderful time in the process and be rewarded with a collection of tasteful and stunning photographs. 

Owned by Phil Holden, Seattle Boudoir Photography is a collaboration between The Fine Art Photography Studio and Pinup Salon.  Our unique team approach provides comprehensive service, including hair and makeup, wardrobe consultation, on-set touch ups and styling, a professional photo shoot, hors d’oeuvres, and of course, champagne!  Our final products present a respectful view of the female body with the help of our styling team, a group of women dedicated to making each client look and feel beautiful.

At Seattle Boudoir Photography, we celebrate the intrinsic beauty and positive energy in each individual.  Our clients have no age limit, preferred shape or size.  Together we can capture portraits that celebrate your sensuality, unique beauty, and individuality, leaving you feeling pampered and empowered in the process. 

Boys, don’t be camera shy!  While most of our clients are women, we also shoot men and couples.  

With walls of exposed brick and sprawling wooden floors, our one of a kind photography studio is designed to make you feel relaxed and comfortable.  Located in Belltown, just blocks from the Pike Place Market, our studio is a contemporary loft filled with light from the south and west facing windows with fantastic downtown and Elliot Bay views.  During your shoot, the studio will be echoing with the music of your choice.  This atmosphere enables our clients to express themselves freely and comfortably.

Who takes boudoir photographs and why?  Many use their photographs as presents for significant others in celebration of an engagement or wedding, as a holiday gift, or even as a simple way to say “I love you.” Other clients aim to reignite the sensual side to their marriage or rejoice over newfound freedom after a breakup.  Some clients bring their boyfriends or girlfriends for a couples shoot!  And our studio favorite, confident women who want to treat themselves to an empowering and exciting experience.
