Boudoir Products: Our classic album

Over the last year we have worked hard to find a range of photography products for our clients to display their photographs.   Its fair to say at the start of 2011 I wasn’t super happy with the breadth and depth of our offerings, to me they were too limiting in both variety and budget.  So at the start of last year we spent a lot of time researching different products and getting samples in the studio to experiment with.  As we start 2012, our forth year as a boudoir studio I feel really good about our product range.  Not that we are done looking for new products, even this week we just added a new product that we are excited about (more to come later) and there are a few areas that we need to find solutions for.  But we have come a long way in our ability to offer a range of products at different sizes, styles and price points.

One of the top categories of products that our clients are looking for are albums.   Because everyone’s taste and style is so different it quickly become apparent that we needed a range of albums styles that appeal to different clients.    So we ended up with three styles, our Classic Album, our Contemporary Album, and then we have our Chic Album.  A few examples above.  All albums are available in both landscape and portrait orientations. Once you have narrowed down your favorites photographs, one of our design consultants will work with you to layout the photographs in a dynamic fashion so that your photographs will really shine.

Here we have some examples of our timeless Classic Album with its silky black cover.  As an artisan studio, we assemble our archival quality products carefully by hand  and each photograph in our Classic Album is carefully printed and mounted in-house by our skilled framer, Kimi.  Our Classic Album is offered in a variety of sizes and dimensions ranging between 8×8 and 11×14. With photographs mounted directly onto pages, these entirely handmade albums are durable and substantial – a true work of art.  In addition to the black cover there are a number of other covers available for those of you that would like a little bit of color in your bedroom.   Our classic albums start out with eight photographs, but clients can add both extra photographs as well as extra pages.

Updated Holiday Dates for albums

Smack dab in the middle of the holiday rush, our studio has been filled to the brim with beautiful ladies getting together their gifts of sexiness!  With all of the festive celebrations just around the corner, we are excited to announce that we have extended our album deadline from November 13th to November 27th!   What does this mean?  It means that you have another week to get your fabulous booty into the studio for a session that will result in the best gift your honey could hope for!  For more details, ladies and gents, call us at (206) 428-6187 and book your session now!

What is your favorite part of the male body – the results are in!

Last month we asked what is your favorite part of the male body. 

Well after the first three week’s the initial results are in and the ‘Arms and Shoulders’ are the clear winners initially, for the most favorite part they received 31.6% and then for the second most favorite, a still high 15.8%.    Apart from them strong showings were received from Back, Butt, Chest, Eyes and Smile.  Check out the chart’s below with the full details.   The survey is still open, so if you haven’t already completed please do so, link here   So how did your views compare to the rest of us ? 

A nice thank you

We just received a nice little thank you email from one of our clients that came into our photography studio in Seattle on Wednesday.  For the moment lets call her Ms S, we had such a blast with her and she so so much fun.  For the second part of her shoot we ended up using a whole lot of mud and water on one of the sets.  I’m not sure if she will let us post any of her photographs yet and share the theme behind the mud, but we know hubby will be very happy when he receives his gift!   Note below,

I just wanted to write to say thank you for the experience yesterday!  You and your crew were amazing!  Your girls totally helped me feel comfortable and I truly enjoyed working with you all.  I cannot wait to see the photographs on the 20th!

Seattle Brides – Get toned for your wedding day

Hello Seattle Brides!   I love this time of year.  Helping brides prepare for their big day is so exciting.  I have lovely ladies of Seattle come to Sync Fitness every year to get their rears in gear for their wedding day.  Of course every bride has her own body wish list: cut shoulders, 6 pack abs, ripped back, smaller hips, firm buns and toned guns.  We work hard to check off each item on that wish list. Of course, every bride wants to get the best results in the shortest amount of time (because, let’s face it, as a bride-to-be, there are NEVER enough hours on the day!)  So my secret weapon for brides is combining strength and cardio into each and every workout.  This is entirely possible and can be done in a short amount of time.  Give me 30 minutes and I’ll have you huffing and puffing and begging for more!  The key is to keep your heart rate soaring during your workout.  So choose exercises that make you pant!  Here’s a little sample workout that you can do in under 30 minutes: Jumping Jacks Push Ups Walking Lunges Pull Ups (weight assisted or negatives if needed) Plank Body Weight Squats (GET LOW!) Mountain Climbers Full Sit Ups Burpees Tricep Dips Jump Squats ***Perform each exercise for 30 seconds.  Perform 3 rounds of this workout.  Try not to rest between exercises.  Rest for a FULL TWO MINUTES between rounds.  This rest will allow you to PUSH, PUSH, PUSH during each round.  ***

Seattle Boudoir Photography previews of Ms C

There are many reasons that our clients come into our fabulous photography studio in Seattle.   Just a few examples are …..they have a wonderful new boyfriend that they are excited about, they have a guy serving overseas in the military that they miss, they are getting married and they want to remind him how lucky he is, it’s his birthday and its about him, they are celebrating XX years of marriage and want to spice up their relationship.  We have so many more that are way too personal to share here.      I know we shouldn’t pick our favorites, so I won’t exactly, but up there close to the top has it be “because it’s just about you and no other reason”. 

Ms C is one of those amazing ladies that decided to do her own boudoir photography shoot for no other reason than she is simply beautiful and she wanted to celebrate that.  She has this amazing energy and love for life and this completely came out in her shoot and photographs.   She was a pure delight to have in the studio and we had such an amazing time with her and her many friends that we have seen since.   Here are a few of her favorite photographs, she looks simply beautiful.   

In addition to having lots of fun and ending up with multiple photographs that she loved, she also wanted to have some of her photographs framed and placed on her wall.  We specialize in this and nothing gets us and especially our wonderful framer Kim excited than having our clients on their walls.  We worked with Mc C to select some beautiful silver frames that are going to look amazing with the photographs and her home décor.  A quick iPhone snap shot on all three pieces with Nicole below.   We can’t wait to see what these get hung.

Seattle Boudoir Photography presents Ms L

Check out these simply lovely photographs of Ms L.  When she came into the studio she was a little nervous at first, but after sitting down with one of our amazing hair and makeup artists, the lovely Jen, she soon relaxed and started to come out of her shell.  We ended up using three completely different sets and outfits that day giving her a wonderful range of choices for her final prints.  Here are some of her favorites that we loved.  Although its fair to say that hubby wasn’t content with just a few photographs as he ordered a beautiful 40 photograph album that we did a whole bunch of design work on, which they just love :)

Seattle Boudoir Photography black white previews

Ms A came into our boudoir photography studio in Seattle after a recommendation from one of her best friends who had visited us last year.   We had a huge amount of fun with her and as you can tell from these few photographs we ended up going for a very moody look for her shoot.  I especially like the nurse props that she brought in with her, not surprising really as she is a nurse.   I’m excited to see her again as apparently her hubby wants to come back in and see all of the other photographs which isn’t surprising

Seattle Boudoir Photography Previews of Ms M

Ms M came into our studio a while ago and I’m super happy to report that she gave us permission to use her photographs online.  Like many of our clients she is a military lady although you would never guess it looking at these beautiful and sexy photographs.   Nicole and I both did a double take when she came back into the studio for her Preview Meeting in her military greens, just so differant from her lingerie!  I just love the outfit choices that she came in with and the colors popped so well contrasting with her beautiful fair skin.    Happy Friday everyone
